I told you before I would be willing to help: I am here to tell you that if you spent your time engaging in the community eventually upvotes would come.
It is important to build your community before complaining about a lack of upvotes.
Build first. Nothing great comes easy.... Perhaps you thought you could just dive in and quit your job? Ive been here over a year and I am far away from even considering quiting my job.
Don't talk about it.... Be about it.
I'm so impatient though, it feels like I've waited all my life and gotten no where. I wish I could put out one book and instantly have people interested, but that only works with people acting dumb on video.
Thanks for the advice I will work on being patient and growth
Keep grinding it won't be easy. Stay humble yet confident. You're 20 feeling like you waited your life? I am 33 still trying to figure it out! Work on learning and perfecting your skill. Strive to improve. Eventually no one will question your ability if you spent all your time refining your ability. You won't just come on here and clear a earning wage you have to grind and be persistent.
Don't give up and remember, when you don't get the affirmation with an upvote that is the Steemit community telling you to work harder and get better.
And finally- continue to engage like-minded friends. They will be your foundation that you build upon.
Until you get a lot of followers that appreciate your work your stuff just plain won't get out there.
Thanks a lot I needed to hear that! Starting today I will be on a persistent posting and building schedule
