Hello and thanks for having me xD.
I've only recently learned about Brave, Hive, NFT, Blockchain and different ways to earn/interact with crypto. It has been an awesome and eye opening experience so far. Being able to be a part of a growing and different economy/community. I'm interested in learning more and am looking forward to contribute.
My relationship with crypto was less than a friendship, I'd call it an acquaintance. I knew about it, knew there was money in it. However I didn't understand it and am still trying to learn more about it each day. I just remember hearing about it when I was younger and remembering that I kept seeing things about "buy 20 bitcoin for 100$". I don't remember the exact amount it was selling for, I just remember how sad I was later that I didn't buy into it lol 😂. Now I'm actually taking interest and am trying to do my research to inevitably invest.
About a week and a half ago I learned about blockchain gaming from a Albion Online streamer Smilinmonster. He discussed applying to get in to Lost Relics, a blockchain game that apparently you can potentially play to earn. In my head I thought "what kind of scam is this? If it's real I want in". Then I looked more into blockchain and noticed all of the other games and how many people/transactions there really were. So far I've spent about 14hours or so a day for 7 days playing lost relics lol. I've found two rare swords and an epic sword. I happened to be extremely lucky, but I was also grateful. It brought back the true childlike excitement. Even if they were worth pennies, I happened to earn something that I could potentially trade for something else. For me this is a first in my gaming history. Since most games are strongly against RMT, NFT is an awesome alternative. I've heard of Entropia Universe and tried it when I was younger, but to me it didn't feel the same.
During this time I've been watching a bunch of lost relic streamers and stumbled upon @quixoticflux twitch.tv/quixoticflux888. They got me into looking at hive, talking about the community and has got me hooked on splinterlands lol. Have been discussing crypto and other aspects I'm interested in. For him and the many others I discover I am thankful. Thankful to open my eyes and step into the future. I believe eventually most people will adapt towards this path. This is the "real reddit".
Also, I happened to notice when making my account that there is apparently a @zader and @zadertheoriginal lol. I've always used Zader as a name and thought I made it up when I was a kid. Apparently I was wrong lol. Hello fellow zaders xD
On a side note I'm looking into Axie and will be checking out all the community stuff. However if anyone would like to message me directly or comment some good videos they know are good for beginners that would be great
Yo Zader! I am fairly new to the crypto world, too. I've been into it vaguely since I first heard about bitcoin but never got REALLY into it. Now with blockchain gaming I've been delving deeper and deeper.
