OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1796th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I know. I may have promised no further posts involving temples, but I find myself being dragged ever deeper into this alternative and surreal universe. I can't save myself! Also, as in the UK where community events often happen around the church, it's the same thing here. It's all just a bit more bizarre that's all! A bit? A lot. A whole lot more!

Another significant change, which could be useful to other people, was when I quit smoking because on the one hand it was damaging my health and on the other hand it was affecting the family economy. I bought a pack of cigarettes with the purpose of not opening them (when a smoker does not have them is when he/she needs them the most). Every day I bought milk for my girls and I thought that those were my cigars: I felt immense pleasure. Since then (thirty years ago) I have never smoked again.

URBAN GARDEN - ESTABLISHING A LACEWING COLONY in the garden - buying bugs for bugs

Hopefully encouraging lacewings in my garden is going to be a great way to naturally manage these pests! As i also had a huge leaf miner problem last year i'm hoping these will help. **EDIT **- nope... they did help at first, but then i think we overloaded on CLM and my plants have been eaten again. but i think that is a timing thing and the DID help at first

Hive Open Mic Week 240- Vuelo: cover by superjavi [Es/ En]

A big hello to everyone at Hive and a greeting to this wonderful Hive Open Mic community, it's a pleasure to be here again and to be able to share some music. I hope you are all well and having a great time.
In this week 240 with the theme of flight, I wanted to bring a song by Ricardo Arjona called Vuelo, just like the theme of this week.

Vuelo is a song that talks about the fascination of the author about a girl, which he observes with eyes of love, a girl who still does not know of the existence of this, but the author if you have already detailed. He uses the expression of flight as a comparison to the sensation of being in the air every time he sees this woman, how his imagination and emotions fly, as if he wanted to take a love that is just blooming to the top. Vuelo is a metaphor for the imagination, and giving an expression of well being and pleasure for the artist, to take his imagination to the air every time he meets this girl.

Nature's Tapestry and A Poet!

Sometimes I feel myself transported into a realm where time ceases to exist, and nature's beauty reigns supreme. The vivid tapestry of colors and emotions, capturing a moment in time that speaks to the soul always makes me thoughtful.
The sky is like a boundless expanse of cerulean blue, stretches far beyond the horizon. When it meets the earth in a harmonious embrace, my poetic mind becomes a craftsman of words. I see fluffy, white clouds drift lazily across the heavens, casting soft shadows that dance upon the landscape below. It is like a surreal landscape that can impose a true impression of Pantheism in the poet's mind.
