Good think the government helped

I'm sure you've seen posts about this already, and truthfully I cant for the life of me understand the logic being deployed here.

As far as I understand. The man who raised Peanut, had him since he was a baby. Not only that, but saved it's life and this is how he ended up with a baby squirrel.

It would seem like someone decided to call the authorities on the guy. What would be the reason for this, nobody seems to know, but it's hard to imagine there being any good reason to do so.

The raid this dude's apartment, as if he's cooking meth in his kitchen. They take peanut, because it's a wild animal, and it doesn't belong in this dude's house.

Yes, the government steps in to help. But, How did they help this little squirrel? They killed it.

Yes, now... all is good.

It boils my blood, it truly does.

Again, somebody explain it to me like im 4. How in the hell is this "a solution" anyone wanted or needed. How is killing a creature that lived happy and safely with a human that loved it, benefited from being killed?

I can't help but to imagine this dude having an enemy online. Some people just can't stand success, it hurts them deep in the insecurities, and thus called the city on the guy.

I don't believe in hell, but there are times like this when I understand Shakespear

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here”
