Do you think signing a petition will help get Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party into the presidential debates?

First, are you voting for Gary Johnson, Libertarian Party, this year? Why or why not? Do you think Clinton and Trump will attempt to influence the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) into keeping Johnson and Stein out of the debates? No way Clinton lets Johnson take the nominee from her, she'll have him killed first.

As of this writing the Johnson Weld website has a petition with 488,924 signatures (goal 500,000) to attempt to get into the debates. If they reach their goal of 500,000 signatures do you think it will change the opinion of the CPD to let Johnson into the debates? I still don't see it happening.

If Johnson got into the debates he would crush Clinton and Trump, hence why they won't let him debate, but you never know right?

Here is to the hope that a true third option becomes available. However, regardless of who becomes president our rights will continue to be violated daily by a tyrannical police state.

Bill Weld is a horrible choice. Now let me force you to bake a gay wedding cake while I try to figure out what the nonaggression principle is.

@tee-em Oh I fully agree. Those who voted for him as VP, instead of someone like Will Coley, threw out their morals and principles (they claim to be libertarian) by going with a Republican. To me this ticket is a double edged sword. It does get more libertarian leaning republicans over helping Johnson get to 15%, however to me at least having them damages the Libertarian party's image. This shows it can be taken over by the establishment.

I don't believe in democracy anyhow. I would also contend that the very act of voting is a violation of the nonaggression principle while supporting a corrupt system.

@tee-em I do agree with you. I always say democracy is where the majority make slaves out of the minority.

It could have an impact especially if they are close to the 15% threshold. I believe they have more work to do.

The highest Johnson is polling at is 12% in one state and averaging around 9% based on the polling criteria that the CPD put out. Chances of them letting him in are slim. But never say never. I hope he is allowed to debate so more people can hear a better choice than hate or corruption.
