I think rationalism is more and more going into the way of comfortisem. However the impact of individualism is enormous. Philosophers now day are living in totally different time. Descartes surly didn't think about 5 hours looking into phone. We are individualist if you wan't it or not. Our patterns are changing and perception is deformed. I think primary unit is losing power, actually they are giving power to the phone and media. And media is making us individualists.
