The other day I was shooting a house in an old yet well-to-do part of Columbus, when all of a sudden there was a crash in a tree across the street, and this hawk just wrecked a squirrel's wishes for a relaxing Winter. The hawk then proceeded to fly over to the tree right in front of me, to give me a good view of him man-handling this dead guy. I didn't have a zoom lens, just a 50 on a crop. But he came close enough that I could get a decent shot of him, but wasn't able to get both in a clear view.

Yeah, it was amazing to see in person since he came so close. The workers were worried he'd drop blood all over their new sidewalk ha.
