Kalyazin is a city in the center of the European part of Russia which is located on the right bank of the Volga River. A significant part of the territory of the old city, including all the main historical monuments, was flooded in 1939-1940 during the construction of the Uglich Hydroelectric Station. On the small island remained only the Kalyazin Bell Tower. My friend sent these wonderful photos of the Volga River. I'm glad to share with you the beautiful sunsets of Kalyazin.
