Every year a couple of Bem-te-vis (Pitangus sulphuratus) makes nest in an avocado tree in the garden here. Last year they did not have much success, only avenged a puppy and for a short time, he ended up falling in the garden and my dog killed him ... does not like blaming too, is the instinct to hunt still present. This year however they had 4 puppies, though now I'm only seeing 3, one should have died. 3 apparently are well healthy and flying around. From time to time, at the end of the day, they land in a tree in front of my office window and I take to do some uncommitted photos. Here are some
Nikon D700, Nikkor 600mm f/4 em 1/80 @ f/5.6, ISO 640
The brief arrival of a parent cause uproar.
Two puppies.
3 puppies getting ready for bed. They spent the night in that position, even under the heavy rain that fell 3 am. This photo was made with very little light, with 1 second exposure (!!) at f / 4.5, ISO 1000! To trigger the camera used cable and MLU, which guaranteed a acceptably clear picture despite the very low speed to 600mm.
