#681 - At a Flower farm in Atok.
Happy Saturday evening dearest beloved Hiveans. It's officially the weekend and hope all is well with you guys. Kinda raining here starting at dawn and the whole day up to now which is night already. I called my father too after lunch today because I thought he is still at the house of his brother in a nearby city but he already went home yesterday night. My brother drive him to the bus station last night and got on a bus before nine in the evening. I called to check up on him about the state of his check up but he said he didn't went to the doctor yet he will go back on the first week of October next month to continue. My mother also got her way on using the old phone I sent them, she now knows how to watch cooking and planting videos on YouTube. She also asked me to load data on her phone which is good for about a month already and it cost about $8. Thanks to HIVE HBD I was able to load her data.
For our shots today we have here colorful and beautiful surroundings of the farm we went to in Atok Benguet. This first shot shows a viewing area made of wooden installation stand in one area of the farm. People use it to take photos of the beautiful view of the surroundings with the clouds, fogs and mountains. A memorable scene for tourists definitely.
Here the wife poses with the purple and white rose cabbages which are also similar to those cabbages in the first photo.
The next three shots shows a part of the farm where the ground is levelled well without hilly area on it and the area is filled with small plants like succulents and that kind of plants. The plants are partitioned in a distance that are equally distributed throughout the field area. Check the third shot with the greater view and see the beautifully laid out plantation.
Then there's also this part of the farm where there's a long wooden chair right in the middle of a plantation of these small flowering plants. There are lots of the flowers so I asked my wife to sat on the chair and I will take some photos of her while she sat. Not sure about the name of the plants but they come in different colors of flowers and there are plenty of them in this part of the farm.
Follow me on my nature travels.
Shot taken in Atok Benguet, Philippines.
I never been there , but it is a great place because of the garden.
Are those Rose Cabbages edible?
Is it a tourist spot? If yes, how much is the entrance fee?
Yes those cabbages are edible according to the people of the farm. And yes it's a tourist spot, better visit there during weekdays.. weekends are congested.. entrance fee was about 250 pesos comes with free coffee and bread which can be claimed after the farm tour, coffee plus great view is a moment to remember.
