My poem is about how I defined "Poetry",
Also what I am doing to practice this kind of art.
This will be my 2nd blog here as well as my 2nd poem here on Steemit.
I'm still enhancing my skills in Poetry so please bare with me. Thanks :)

"Poetry is You"

They say it is to express your feeling.
You will need a pen and paper for writing,
start thinking while looking at the ceiling,
words are already in mind ready for revealing.

It doesn't require anything to start.
Everything you wanted that came from the heart,
thoughts are creative so it is a work of art
just pursue with a clear goal for your craft.

Our works are full of observation,
we look for greater depth of perception,
define ordinary objects with radical descriptions,
so that's how we build our connections.

Of course feelings often fuel creativity,
yourself is to be your priority.
Use ideas to look up motivity,
it is okay to subvert the ordinary.

Use some metaphor and simile to bring imagery
that your sentence won't always read literally.
Also allow yourself to write badly,
learn to explore freedom in poetry.

Then ask what your poem want to do
and stick yourself with that answer like a glue,
but never afraid to try something brand-new
this world always need a breakthrough.

Ask some friends to seek feedback.
choose only those who really knack,
good tracer if there are still cracks
be sure to spend something for his snacks.

Poetry will bring you to an exciting adventure.
Sure creating of it gives you a pleasure,
vivid images in our mind are like treasure.
Build your thoughts like an architecture.

For the end everything is about learning,
In this poem I wish you get something,
if there is, then for me it's a blessing.
For every art i know it's worth for respecting.
