Poetry: The Fight is on!

The fight is on,
Am never giving up this fight,
The quest for success is in depth,
The tenacity to succeed is building,
The hussle is real.

The fight is on,
Not for the swift,
Nor for the wise,
Nor for the mighty,
But only for he who favor finds in the sight of Jehovah!

I have come thus far,
With my success and failures,
With my trials and triumph,
With imperfections and reality,
They build into who i am today.

I yet to explore the coasts,
I only have a breathe in my sense of what they are like,
I am yet to touch the skies,
I only imagine how it feels,
Sometimes i fly but yet fall,
I can only see what flying without falling looks like,
I anticipate happiness in all.

If greatness will make me sad,
I don't need it,
If humility will make me more human,
Then I embrace it.

The fight is on,
Only a few will win,
Only a few will be at the top,
Only a few will celebrate,
Lord, all I ask;
Is to find favor in your eyes,
No matter the out come,
May your love,
May your favour,
Your grace,
May they never depart from me.

The fight is on,
But tge fight is yours,
So I lay them up on your hands,
Do your fighting for your slave son.

The Fight is on,
And you; oh Jah,
You're my fight and my win!
