Maya Angelou spoke,
'There is no greatest agony,
Than bearing an untold story inside you.'
But you still dare not say a word.
You have become a graveyard of secrets
And the haunting is more
strong on certain days.
But you dare not speak,
You tie in the story at
the back of your spine,
It holds you up but limits your freedom.
But you dare not talk,
Travelling subtly through
the days of this world
--- you walk.
Not realising your eyes
are in great agony,
Oh dear one, your eyes want
to tell your story.
You have lost your eyes,
which is why now
your eyes speak.
Very interesting post! looking forward to more of your post! If you get the chance please check my blog out I think you will enjoy it!
This is a great piece from Maya Angelou. We all have a work of art inside of us. It will take a little living to bring it out but all these stories should be told. They are the helpful creations of our time.
