RE: Qurator is stepping back from the dpoll race, vote for @steemitbloggers

in #qurator6 years ago (edited)

With all due respect @shadowspub - Have you taken a look at the polls lately? I am a mom too - my son is ALREADY here on steemit and I FULLY support their initiative, but at this stage with the clock ticking, there are three choices - and that is where the "bigger picture" comes into play. The two other runners are secular communities... we are the exact opposite and are here to support ALL the proactive initiatives on Steemit - and that includes @Spunkeemonkee. We are here to work together. Alienation does not help anyone. We are eternally grateful to @scrooger and the entire @qurator community as well as the @freewritehouse community and @mariannewest for their acknowledgement of how much we as @steemitbloggers contribute to this platform as well as @theluvbug and me, as an individual.

I hope you will see at some point that we are here for EVERYONE who has a shared goal and vision. We are not islands.

That’s nice...I am a member of quator and do not support their choice in this...that is my right last I checked. And what exactly does being secular have to do with this?

Was merely explaining that we are all on the same team @shadowspub. Whilst disappointing, it is relatively obvious that @Spunkeemonkee will not win the delegation race. Out of the top three, my community are the broadest supporters of such initiatives - in fact most of our members are involved in them too, so I was simply saying that the delegation has a far greater chance of being used in the direction of qurator and other involved parties in the poll, if Steemit Bloggers win. I was not challenging or disregarding your choice of support, but why lose it to communities that primarily focus on the people from their own country - when we can stand together as communities who all support internationally....
