It could be used along side of facial recognition so that when you met someone it could display their name and some info about that person. I think it is also a way to help people come to accept the future intergration of technology with the human body. Whereas now people wear big headsets and glasses to experience AR soon you can wear a contact lense and for blind people an artificial eye. Just some thoughts.
That's actually a pretty good suggestion for the application of augmented reality. I don't know if it is actually possible though
