Now, of course I’m talking about bitcoin. Currently sitting at about $18,600 usd. Although since I’m up here in the Great White North, eh, I’ll be yacking about it in Canadian dollar terms. So let’s check it out:

I’ll spend some time in another post on a few of the alts I like, but in the meantime, and only if you’re interested, have a look at Vechain, Chainlink and Zilliqa, to name just a few. And now check this out:
This is an institution in Vancouver. Probably one of the few spots you could get a real cappuccino before Starbucks et al invaded every corner. It’s been here 45 years and has seen many a game of highstakes billiards and world cups. It’s a Portuguese place, and has simple but delicious Sandwiches, serves ice cream, and you can even get a beer!
...so why am I showing you this place? Well it’s because it’s a bank too! Right in the back they have a two way (buy/sell) bitcoin machine — it’s sell (only) Litecoin as well.
I friggin’ love this place!

Make sure you check out the fees though, some operators are pretty pricey.
Now I won’t make any predictions about bitcoin here, ‘cause it is looking pretty hot right now. But going fwd, it sure looks like a long term winner. Especially when you can drink a beer and eat a mini-steak sandwich while you do your banking.
