Recently, before all this cold set in, I took a woman in Montgomery AL from a full-blown panic attack (she hadn't been out her door, even for work, in three days because of a snake in her yard) to laughter and relief in 20 minutes.
As the world's only stand-up comic, snake-handling magician, I specialize in The Truly Petrified.
I use humor and knowledge to break through barriers erected by lifelong phobias.
I have an 800 number I keep going (even though it's no longer paying for itself) for people all over the country to call with snake problems. If I have a field herpetologist near them, I'll send them out, for a fee, to inspect, advise, and relocate any animals if necessary. I also do a telephone consultation, for a very small fee, that takes about 30-45 minutes to teach them everything they need to know, specific to their part of the country, one on one with me. But often as not, I end up giving them the most important knowledge for free.
The number doesn't have a dial zero to get a live person option, you have to leave a number to call back, so the message you hear (that's me) is rather interesting. Try it if you like, 800-339-9470.
She'll now be taking all her unopened packages of sulfur, mothballs, and Snake-Away (a combination of the previous two, that like them, does NOT work) back to the store.
The transformation in her voice was magical to hear. She had her home, and her life, back.
The fear of snakes is a learned and entirely unnecessary phobia that melts away like ice on a warm day in the face of knowledge and humor.
Unchecked, it causes collisions with stationary objects.
Love your reptile, comedy, magic, healing! 💗😄💗
