I have seen sunrise and moonrise but never seen earthrise and will never be able to see it in my lifetime. But three NASA astronauts - Cmdr. Frank Borman, command module pilot Jim Lovell, and lunar module pilot William Anders were lucky to see earthrise when they started orbiting moon on Christmas Eve in 1968. They were the first people who saw earth from deep space while boarding on Apollo 8 moon mission. The excellent and live view of earthrise was also broadcasted in television to show the people residing on earth.

Fun fact: The Moon is actually tidally locked to the Earth, meaning that the position of the Earth in the sky doesn't change when you're standing on the Moon. As a result, the only place where you can actually see Earthrise is from Lunar orbit! :)
