After the U.S. Monetary Reset, One Thousand Dollars will only have the "Spending Power" of a Ten Dollar Roll of U.S. Quarters...
So, when I see people giving "Thanks and Praise" to People leaving Five Cent Up-Votes, I have to Laugh...
Do any of you Realize what your Steemit Account Values will be Worth "after" the Reset...???
Try Dividing it by One Hundred...

On the other hand every nickel I earn outside the system is worth a premium of over 50% of it's nominal value because earning the same nickel inside the system costs me over 50%. I find a Nickel in a vending or Coinstar machine I feel that satisfaction of spitting into eye of the powers that be. And to rub it in I accumulate enough to buy Silver, my plunder of loose change and beverage deposits for January and February almost $100 CAD enough for 4 oz T of silver. Arrrh right!
As per my P.C. Theory, you’ll be able to buy six ounces of Silver with Twenty Nickels.. That’s if Silver remains around 15 in today’s Dollars.. And Three of those Copper Pennies you mentioned having, will buy you a Pounds of Pure Copper... To make a Long Story Short, I won't be Cashing in any of my U.S. Coinage until "after" the U.S. Monetary Reset... My Motto is to "Spend the Paper, and Pocket the Change"... Note... My Theory only pertains to U.S. Coinage...
I've already figured that's why you have the 'pocketchange' handle.
Interesting thrift store find of three large bags of obsolete Canadian pennies for sale each with 1K unsorted pennies each, as our govt no longer deemed legal tender as of 2013. I also keep any US coinage that comes my way.
Well, I’m glad we’ll be keeping our U.S. Pennies... Not only that, but my Theory calls for Decimal Cents, where it takes 100 Decimal Cents, to make One Cent... They’ll be needed for U.S. Crypto-Coinage...
