Steemit's Top Self Voters: 03 August 2017 Report

in #stats7 years ago

This looks at Steemit users who 'self vote' on their own posts and comments. This report identifies voters who are currently engaging most actively in the practice but does not pass judgement on whether it is right or wrong. At this stage the post only looks at self votes on their own account, but in future will also take into account voting practices on linked accounts.

Selection Criteria:

  • Self Vote % of 80% or above
  • Self Vote Count > 5
  • Top 50 Users by Number Self Votes

Does it harm the system a lot or it's just okay?

Upvoting a few of your own posts for visibility/ return on investment is quite common. However, if you are voting 50 times for yourself in one day (as above) and no-one else, it's not really what the system was made for!

Interesting. What other analytics are you currently doing on Steemit data if any?

For the time being, just this report and the most valuable posts report. Currently working on a few more but focusing on these two for now.
