Why price of Steem has been stuck at 0.80$ and when will price likely to increase?

Why has Steem price been stuck at 0,80$? Because the whole cryptocurrency market is in a bear market and it will likely continue to do so for some while. At the moment there is no big interest in Steem or any other crypto out there. People think the price will go up when SMTs are being released next year but I do not think this single event will lead to a new bull run. It is a good thing for the long run but it will not be enough. If Bitcoin drops more , Steem will follow. 

When will the price increase? I have no idea. Well that's not completely true. It will rise when Bitcoin rises. But nobody knows when that will happen.  I'm still bullish long-term though. It is a coin I use everyday and that's what it is all about. Yes there are a lot of issues. A lot! But it's being used. There is also no real competitor for Steem at the moment which is a big advantage.

    You are right my friend that we don't know when the bull market will again start but it's true that every coins are totally dependable with Bitcoin price.

    If we knew when it would go up again, we would be rich, very rich.
    Still I do have a positive feeling about the remainder of the year. Just published my portfolio post and the last week wasn't so bad. Most coins in the port went up, and only a few down.
    BTC is around the same level as last year, and we all know what happened. But no, I don't think the same thing will happen again! But I do think that the prices at the end of the year will be at least 10% higher than the prices we do see at the moment.

    I think it will come sooner than you think look at the market moves today bullish sentiment ok this can be a false push but markets are going up... let's go moon...
