Learn to be patient!

Patience is an ability to hold emotions when things do not go the way they should. Patience is an easy thing when everything goes well in accordance with what we expect. But what if we were caught in traffic jams, our cars scratched by others, berated, our rights taken by others, are we still patient?
Many situations make us impatient, such as God's unanswered prayer, unfulfilled promises, unfair treatment, lies and so on. Often people say that patience has its limits. Until when to be patient? Jesus himself set an example and taught how that patience is. Patience is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The example of the patience that Jesus taught was how not to avenge crime with evil, how to forgive and how to keep believing and hoping although there is no basis for hope. There are many scriptures in the Bible that speak of patience.

James 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

So how can we be more patient?

to be more patient ** The first ** you should do is recognize the source of your impatience. If you can recognize the source of your impatience, you can make anticipation. Maybe that causes you impatience is a spouse, children, work, or coworkers. By recognizing the source, you can make control of your emotions and feelings.
** The second ** is you have to organize your life as simple as possible. For example do not be too push yourself to do something that you really can not do, do not be too ambitious, take time to rest and give a little tolerance to others.
** The third ** increase your spirituality and practice. The only thing that can change our impatience to be patient is the truth of God's word. When we understand the truth and we do it we will change. The Word of God says where there is truth there is freedom. The truth itself is God, and it is he who can set us free.
Sometimes situations and people around us are used by God to exercise our patience. If we are able to survive then we will emerge as winners. And the perfect example of patience is God Himself. Let us learn from Him.
