Very cool, @clixmoney :) While I tend to agree that crypto in general is a pretty male_dominated industry--as is the "trading market" in general--and we could pontificate on why we think this is the case; but, seeing as steemit is so unique, I feel like it is one of the few pockets in the industry that does include, if perhaps not a majority, but still a definite higher prevalence of what you are referring to as "feminine energy." Just look at all the music contests, art and drawing contests, poetry and writing circles and groups... Granted, we could have a whole other discussion as to why it is the case that these are typically viewed as being more "feminine" activities; though I think we can agree that this is the case. So with Steemit, we do kind of get the "best of both worlds!"
Now, of course, I am not so ignorant as to not realize that I am writing this from a male's perspective--therefore, I understand that it is going to be biased in some way. That being said, I definitely do think that women should have just as equal of a presence here on steemit as men do--or in the very least the same opportunity to be equivalent, if they should so desire. In other words, not be discriminated against due to their sex or gender.
THERE! Now that we got THAT out of the way :)
I wanted to take the opportunity to, as you have done, @clixmoney, mention a couple of women I have had the benefit of speaking with on steemit, and who I think deserve a "shout out!"
Both @BeeYOU, and @lynncoyle1 are two women I have met recently that have been great. The first, BeeYOU's "reputation preceded her," for I had already heard her name mentioned numerous times by a couple of steemians as having been integral to their upbringing on the platform. I have had the privilege myself now of joining both herself and lynncoyle in a funny chatroom and also on a curation trail, and I get to see both womens' service in action.
The other woman is named @zipporah, who, after having been asked by some other steemians to intervene in an altercation they had seen me in, approached me and tried very kindly to act as mediator between myself and another steemian. This was very brave of her, and much appreciated. Numerous members have spoken very highly of her, and she has taken it upon herself (at others' behest) to act as a kind of steemit diplomat. Which is a great service, and I'm sure will be of much help.
Thank you, women of steemit!
Thanks for including more interesting women, we have to support them all or we will have wars in steemit like the flagging wars that are happening between a lot of steemians right now. ☺
that is so disgusting! WHen you read all that mud being thrown around. I most of the time have not got a clue where they talk about.
It's better to not understand what they are talking about, because it's really cheap thing to fight about some upvotes. A lot of people are angry because others are earning very much without doing anything for that, to earn in steemit like in the real life we have to work hard but not to complain about people who are rich.
I do understand that much, the self voters, but as long as we can I think we have to throw decency overboard and do it, and stop licking asses from the big whales when they had a chance to interact with you, and they do not, not even commenting! when you said or ask anything about their post. There are only a few nice whales I think. For me steemit is based on interacting, I vote for my group of friends, and they will vote for me. I hope that whenever we grow as whales, we will keep on doing that, I look to my voting power once above 90 I will vote about 10 times, first my own ! and than family and friends. I still will have power to vote for contests and so on :-) But when they stop be able to self vote I totally agree. :-)
