Who wants to earn money for writing, he can look for jobs on Upwork, or be a blogger and pitch to some other blogs - or any other of many many ways. And who wants to invest, they can invest in steem or any other currency, without usurping Steemit with google-translated posts and self-upvotes on them. :D So yes, Steemit is totally, totally for the real inspiration, and making relationships + being rewarded cause the good quality should be rewarded. :)

Steemit is nothing more than chrony capitalism. A few dozen investors that got in early, and now spend their days upvoting their friends. There is something fundamentally wrong with "my vote is worth more because I have more (steem) power."
