I have been a user on twitter since the very early days, August of 2009 actually. I amassed a following of over 10,000 users over the years and my tweets inside of 10 minutes would show as many as 1500 impressions with retweets as many as 200, likes would easily eclipse the 300 range on a regular basis. But about 10 months before the election in 2016 I noticed my interaction started dropping off and I mean dramatically dropping.
I noticed I was in some fashion, with my account @notalemming being #Shadowbanned. I even did a few post about it. My first protest post was as early as Feb 2016, shown here on the top of my examples of which I have included many below. I have included 5 of #Shadowban protest tweets here for your consideration as to it's legitimacy as a real problem.
Well now a major protest is planned by Twitter user Juliet. WE all need to support this effort.
If you don't stand up for your rights you stand to lose them.
It is paramount that you stand up for your rights to free speech in the Digital Town Square. In the United States the Phone company cannot ban your access to a telephone because they do not like what you may say on that phone or who you may talk to. They have to provide you with the service. The same should apply to Facebook and Twitter. Both corporations are actively banning and blocking users from sharing their opinions in what THEY have deemed the Digital Town Square because they do not like your political view point.
So its up to you to stand a fight for your right to Tweet and post on Facebook

I need YOU as a Steemian to repost this blog post share it with your friends and make sure we get as many users of twitter involved as possible. We need for Fascist Jack and the investors to see that they cannot afford to lose a huge swath of users without it effecting their bottom line. As much as these Fascist Corporate Dictators, like Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg want to shove socialism down our throats it is important to realize they are in fact CAPITALIST companies dependent on selling ads in order to fund their daily operations.
So remember on January 19th your twitter account needs to go dark On January 21st your twitter account needs to go dark. No tweets no interaction. Don't login don't even browse the websites as a non user from the public view. Remember ads run here too.

I don't use Twitter or Facebook at all due to things like this (haven't for years now). These major platforms and their selective censorship piss me off so much that I literally just avoid using their bullshit platforms all together. This is why I find Steemit such a breath of fresh air, as you don't have to worry about all the bullshit that most major social platforms enact on their users.
