I've curated some content of yours for maybe 2 weeks now, and it's time to comment :). I just want to let you know that I love your approach and your style in your posts. It's down to earth and thought-provoking.

As far as the quest to One Million is concerned, I think it's really interesting for minnows like me to see you documenting so precisely your path through steemit. We're all wondering how much time it takes to build a strong account on steemit. Even if I haven't started blogging yet, to see your efforts to grow is inspiring.

Question : do you plan to do a monthly recap as well ?

I wish you to reach the Million asap ! I'll curate the best I can.

Keep up the good work !

I consider myself a minnow as well my friend.. :).. and I do my best to stay on top of this, write a daily market analysis etc. I may certainly incorporate a monthly recap into it.. that would be a good idea.. I just need to find time to put it all to a spread sheet etc. I suppose the part that I am most excited about is giving away the money when it comes. For the majority of my life I have known what it feels like to see others win, especially those undeserving.. rich kids with a new car that mommy and daddy bought etc. I grew up poor.. like second hand bread store poor.. my only out was to join the Marine Corps.. so I took it.. Granted I am an exceptionally bright guy.. genetics there.. so I have worked my ass off and studied, paid my dues and now trade quite successfully. But I got there by having people with much more money than me take an interest, and steer me in the direction of wealth building.. people that had no real reason too as I could not benefit them at the time. Through that I learned that the best path for success is to help others get to your level, not step on people to get to the top.. One wise old man, whom was a multi multi millionaire when I was still painting houses with my dad told me "there are enough animals in the jungle for every animal to eat".. ergo there is enough money to go around.. so why be a dick and try and step on other people.. why not try and elevate them, inspire them, motivate them.. To this day I still stay thank you to David Southwell, whom saw potential in a lowly house painter with a good head and high aspirations. I also learned that so many people judge you based on how you dress etc.. It's bullshit.. I was so much smarter than the majority of people that I worked for but they chose to judge me based on my painters whites, not on who I was; a job I had because it was the family business and as my fathers only son it was my responsibility to keep it going.. That said, rant over.. trading.. typing from the hip.. but very excited to help others if this thing plays out.. Thank you for your kind words and I look forward to building a relationship with you through STEEMIT...--- Richard.

Thanks for that thoughtful answer and sharing your story. Unfortunately I missed the notification and I've just seen it now ahah.

Yes Steemit allows new ways of earning... but also of giving, and having an impact, like you said, which is as important, if not more.

Thanks for your answer. Taking the time to answer and connect in that way with your followers is what will lead you far.

No problem, I try and respond to every notification
