The number of exchanges that STEEM and SBD are available on are severely deficient. This is hindering Steemit community and forcing the price of STEEM to remain low. I evaluated the price of STEEM at $109 because a majority of the currency is locked up in Steem Power. When comparing the liquid currency and price to other currencies in the top 50, Steem should have a market price of over $100. Why is STEEM so low? It is just not made readily available because it is on very few major exchanges. Help me change that!
Below is a list of exchanges that are making other top 50 coins valuable. STEEM and SBD need to be on as many of these exchanges as possible. If anyone has any connections to these exchanges, please do what you can to get STEEM and SBD listed.

There is more that can be done. We can do much better than that if STEEM and SBD were made available everywhere.

Lets put the lack of exchanges concept in perspective. Perhaps you want to buy a new car. You have plenty of Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Dodge, Mazda, Volkswagen, Subaru, and Honda dealerships where you live. They speak the same language that you use. However in order to buy a Hyundai, you have to go to another country to buy it and they don't speak your language. There is a high probability that you would not buy a Hyundai.
This is the dilemma with STEEM and SBD. As a currency, if it is not made available everywhere, then people would likely use something else. In comparison to other currencies ranked in the top 50, STEEM and SBD are severely lacking access. When people don't buy it or use it, the currency has little value and thus the price will remain low.
Other currencies have dedicated teams aggressively convincing exchanges to list their coin. STEEM seems to leave that task up to US.
Here is how you can make a difference for Steemit future.

This is by far the easiest step:
Convince a Witness to get STEEM or SBD listed on a major exchange. Just promise to use your witness vote for the witness that gets the job done. Combine your vote with others and we can influence a witness to make it happen. Your witness votes do not take away from your voting power or earnings and is simple to do. You have 30 of these votes and they don't get used up. If you decide to change your mind you can unvote a witness or switch the vote to another witness.

Major exchanges already listed steem. need more exchanges to list steem and sbd
Always been confused as to why sites like poloniex and hitbtc have such a problem with steem/sbd. I know of no one who has really explained it
I asked the Poloniex and HitBTC question to the Steem Inc Director of Communications and got muted forever. I think that was worse than being ignored. It is ironic that the STEEM Inc Director of Communications publicly ignored Steemit concerns about communications coming from STEEM Inc and made it clear that he is not concerned at all about our needs for STEEM Inc to be transparent.
This attitude that STEEM users can be ignored will change. I have created a movement that combines our witness voting power for the witness that accomplishes our goals. We are growing fast.

HitBTC doesn't seem legit to me now.
I know. They are trading a virtual supply of SBD and STEEM yet they have abandoned the wallet that has the SBD and STEEM in it. The main wallet has the real SBD and STEEM in it and it is as if they lost the keys to the wallet. They may never do anything with the wallet. This means that the virtual supply that they are trading is a fake currency. HitBTC is going to have a very tough time explaining to auditors why they were trading a fake currency in their exchange for 5+ months.
