It doesn't matter the type or class of people, like you said, punks everywhere. Maybe we could limit it somehow with structural changes.
Really, just one or two tweaks would galvanize the platform.
If you want to upvote your own comment to get it to the top of the comments section, it should be limited to 10 cents.
You must write a reason as to why you are downvoting someone, while voting, so that the downvoted can take said accusation in front of a downvote panel and have it reviewed. I don't feel that strongly about this, but some process needs to be put in place.
Potentially reward accounts on number of unique comments on a post. Obviously can be gamed by having numerous accounts, but may make the rewards stream more fair and break the dominance of bots. (comment dropping bots suck!)
I like it. Definitly a good start. Its retarded seeing one self upvote for like $5. A whale decided he/she didn't like a post of mine (it was political) and I got destroyed. All I did was link an article and make commentary. Let's get them to change it!
