You wish you had done something
Sometimes you just wished
Everything had gone differently
A lot of times you wished wasn't in time
The mistakes you made
You wished you hadn't made
The mistakes you didn't make
You wished you had
Sometimes it just doesn't make sense
What you say
The things you do
What I'm writing
Nothing does
We all seek that inner glow
That persistent flow
That levitates our very soul
We never want to be the stone
That the builder refused
But end up being the paint
That the painter misuse
But it all makes sense now
All of it
Every last bit
The mistakes
The heart aches.
A dream is all it takes
And a spark to make our ideas bright
The same spark that lights our dark
That makes us see our left from our right.

My ninety seventh entry for @dpend 100 day poetry contest
Our hundred days poetry boat is still sailing nothing can stop us now till we reach our desired goal we will surely finish what we had started. I'm so grateful to different poets who through one way or the other have me the strength to continue.
At first when we started it seemed so hard, so difficult to write a poem every day of the week every week of the month, but we are here now and still writing. I know I've greatly improved and sharpened my writing skills since we started I'm really grateful to dpend for this contest.
@corderosiete you might not know this but your persistent visits to my blog gave me hope and the strength to write again and again. Thank you and to the rest of the poets you're all doing a good job, at least our zeal hasn't decreased or wavered yet, as i see great poetry in every nook and cranny
It's been great so far our pen bleeds.
