Here's my entry for the STEEMIT STARS - All Talent Style Competition; a poem I wrote in honour of friend who lost his fiance:
My eyes have emptied all the waters
in the oceans of their roots.
Now they are thirsty
Thirsty for water
So I paid my friend and neighbor a visit
To share in the grief of his loss
To moisturize the bosom of my tear buds.
I have forgotten how to laugh
But I am tired of crying
Tears no one sees,
Groans no one hear.
If I cry a river,
will life return my innocence?
