I have some I've had since I was a child, but that's it. I've never paid much attention to what it's been worth throughout the years.

Interesting how when we are young somehow we always get a few pieces of silver and how it never leaves our hands. Something to think about.
Silver dimes are worth about $3 in melt value give or take and the quarters are only 40% but still worth around $9 the last time I checked.
In the US, all quarters and dimes minted in 1964 and before are 90% silver. The uncirculated quarters have 0.1808 troy ounces of silver content meaning their melt value is around $2.60 right now. Uncirculated dimes have 0.0723 troy ounces of silver and have a melt value of around $1.05 today.
