After much coding, while being extremely sick (ear infection + cold), I am now able to run analytics on all the stewards of Gondor (aka Steemians that have been delegated some of my Steem Power).
Week 0 is the week prior to receiving any delegation.

Currently, I'm only using three metrics for determing the steward's rank -- up-votes, steemians and comments. The "steemians" is how many different people the steward has up-voted. Only the most recent week is used for calculating the score.
TOP CURATORS
DISCLAIMER: There are stewards below that were selected for their content creation, spam moderation and not just curation. I will not be listing them in the next curation report.
If you think you can do better than any of my stewards please comment below as to why I should delegate some of my precious steem power to you.
I will be going to bed shortly after posting this because I'm still sick. I will try to reply to your comments tomorrow.
wow. I didn't know you delegated to that many people. That is impressive. I don't think I can beat any of those records. But I know who can. I recommend @carlgnash.
I hope you get better soon.
I will surely look into him/her. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thank you and me too :) .... I'm 50% there.
Hopefully fighting fit again now!
I have to agree with many in that @carlgnash is doing fantastic work for the new joiners - hunting out the good and the excellent with some great replies also.
Cheers!
Your stewards are awesome man, already know a few of these such as @teamhumble that have supported me quite a lot. funny concept you are running here!
I'm trying to create a cycling project "Cycling4Steemit" but it's still very much in the beginning. I could still be your new pippin though. ;)
There are many good people I've come across here in Middle Earth. I'm glad you've already met one of them.
lol, I'll look it into it. Take care pip.
Haha awesome ! Yes we all have our duties in middle earth, take care !
That's really useful. Thanks for putting that together. Before the delegation I was having a horrible week in the real world so I wasn't commenting or posting my own articles as much but I was upvoting. Then I got the delegation and stopped upvoting to get my VP back up to 100%. It'll be interesting to see if I can do better this next week. I'm not surprised to see @cecicastor as #1. She's is an amazing member of the community!!
This analytical report is really coarse so don't take it too seriously. I just wanted my stewards to know I didn't abandon them and just been busy programming. I will somehow add quality of blogs and comments to the report in the future. This script, currently, is mostly just a way to detect if any of my stewards went M.I.A.
I had sent you a private message on steemit chat (not knowing you were ill and recovering).
It has been an honor to do this and I did NOT know at the time I was given this delegation. So my numbers started out... bad (and I am kicking myself) but I have adjusted many aspects of the voting and am getting the hang of it, so to speak.
Great to see a list of the team. I started only 58 days ago and to be a member of this team is an honour. I thought I would introduce myself to the team as I don't know most of you. Perhaps a post so that everyone can introduce themselves to the team would be in order @fulltimegeek!
I'll let my original post do the introductions as there is a video there you can watch and a bunch of other pertinent information.
https://steemit.com/introduction/@wwf/invitation-to-ungrip-and-return-to-the-land-in-peace-freedom-prosperity-joy-and-love
I don't do much curating, instead focusing on writing high quality content in the spirit of peace, freedom, prosperity, joy and love. I work hard to average 2 posts a day, so there is a lot of content up already. It is not my intent to compete against anybody here, but rather share a life time of experiences, knowledge and wisdom so that I can influence others to build strong, healthy, vibrant, spiritual relationships.
May Creator bless you all and I look forward to the journey! I have much to learn. Again, thank you @FullTimeGeek for the invitation to join this team. I am honoured and I respect your integrity and generosity a great deal.
If content quality was a metric you would surely rank #1 wwf. This report is very coarse and it's like version 0.001. Don't take it too seriously.
Your contributions to the steem blockchain is of great value for anyone that have eyes to see.
<3 Thank you. You honour me and my work. For that I am grateful. May all our eyes be opened! <3
Having more steem would motivate me to be more awesome than I already am so yeah pick me pick me!!
Woah! Could you please give us recommendations to do better? I had the bad luck of starting with a very low SP xD
Also my selfvotes are in posts only and I have post more because of utopian :o
But please, teach us how to improve! Remember we are minnows/plankton :P
Oaaa and get well soon!!
Please note that this report is mainly objective and not subjective (currently not judging quality) so don't take it too seriously. I just needed a way to make sure none of my stewards went M.I.A.
The best things to do are:
Try not to do the following:
There is another solution to that. Flag often and your VP will almost never reach 100%! ;)
Oh I understand a part... Hehe... But what is M.I.A.?
Also, will you consider flags the user gives too?
@fabiyamada, I believe it's Missing In Action :)
Oh! Something like die in the middle of the war xD thanks!
A great way is to upvote everyone who you comment on and who comments to anything you write.
You appear middle of the pack....which isnt bad.
Upvote and comment seem to be the key.
Yeah! Actually I started upvoting comments like a week before the delegation, but I've been giving lots at 100% when upvoting posts, maybe I should decrease the % to upvote more...
Your 100% upvote is 50 cents or so, so I would not dilute it - but put comments down to a lower percent and do more upvoting of them. We need comments in this place! Anything to encourage them is good.
For comments I use a max of 10%, should I decrease more?
Well, that I cannot really say. At 10%, you can reward a lot of comments - so try that for a few weeks. I'm not sure since my total is at only 10 cents so I vote with much higher percentage. I use 40% on comments, 100% on posts with good chance of rewards, and 60% on posts just to be nice, encouraging, and helpful. I'm not sure how I will do this at your lofty heights :)
it's great you delegate SP to peoples, i have a question i am a minnow and i want to post whatever i learn so far in my life, how i grew up what challenges i face in my life, i am not an expert author but i have a very good habit of never give up no matter how hard the situation is, am i eligible for some SP as i am a part of steemit since 6 months and i love steemit and want's to be a part of steemit community as much as i can. i hope you not take it in a negative sense i just want to reward peoples who come to my blog and leave good comments and i also like to upvote other steemians posts which are valuable for the ecosystem, wish you a speedy recovery my friend and also wishing you all the best for all of your future endeavors! Stay blessed
I am actually super stoked that you have undertaken this. A lot of my favorite Steemers are amongst your stewards, and I am sure you gave a lot of thought to who you elected to spread the love.
A couple common themes seemed to be more votes, more comments, and spreading the votes to more Steemers, and I reckon those are key to the effort.
Kudos! I truly appreciate your investment in the future Steemers you're trying to help.
I'd like to see this same analysis of my own habits, and I think others might too. I'm hesitant to try to start the process of learning all the coding and such it would take to be able to do it myself.
How much trouble would it be to setup an app, or site, that folks could use to analyze their performance on these metrics?
Thanks to all the stewards too! You guys are here for a reason, and it shows =)
I agreee 38848484829920101% !!! If @fulltimegeek decides to create a site/app/tool for this analytics count me in for the design! I would be glad to help!
After I get all the kinks worked out on the laptop I shall surely migrate the application to android. This shouldn't be too difficult because the script is written in groovy which also runs on the Android OS.
Thank you for your interest in this utility because it motivates me even more knowing that others desire to run such analysis. Here are your stats from the past week:
Total up-votes: 336 Total Steemians: 169 Percent to Self: 0.00% Total comments:168 Total blogs:7
Those are good numbers.
=) I really had no idea of how I fit into these metrics. I am quite encouraged that I'm doing that much. Feels good man!
Thanks!
Wow...thanks for the update @fulltimegeek.
I didnt realize I was doing that much upvoting....I will have to correct that.
Thanks for all you are doing on here.
I'm happy to see that others appreciate this report. Upvoting isn't bad at all, but the way the script currently works it deducts from your score the higher % of self votes one gives. This of course is objective and not subjective b/c I'm not checking if the self-votes are in good taste. I do want content creators to upvote themselves if they're not getting enough support from the community.
I love the analysis tool and thank you for putting it together. It is really helpful to see what we are doing and how the numbers stack up. It is often difficult to do when floating around commenting, posting, and upvoting. It is easy to fall into a track and ignore the other areas.
I like how you use the three different aspects as a basis for analysis. It helps people to realize the site needs more than just upvoting or commenting...it needs both. We also need to touch as many different people as possible....that is the reason for you multiplying your efforts after all.
Thanks again for the SP and all you are doing.
Interesting I will scrutinize this and think about changing my modality.
Interesting study so far.
I'm afraid based on those three parameters I am unlikely to move up or down very much in my use of the delegation. I am constantly curating new steemians, as such I want to give them a significant bump, so I give higher percentage upvotes, but limit myself to a minimum of around 75% VP. That limits the total number of votes I will give out.
I will always spread the vote around to as many unique steemians as I can, and try to curate and upvote all of my comments, so maybe that will positively impact my standings. We'll see!
The script I use to run this report is very coarse so don't take it too seriously. There should be other metrics I use that are more subjective, such as:
I think your current voting stats are very good.
I'll take a shot :)
I currently only have Grey Goose or Johnnie Walker b/c my SP is all used up :) ... lol ... I shall surely keep you in mind mr.stackin.
Most interesting to see these stats.
I have my personal goals for voting. I try to get to 150+ different people to upvote, spreading across the spectrum, but with an emphasis on lower users as much as possible as I feel my limited voting power will have more impact there.
If I spot someone with a 0 or close to zero reward I do try to dive in and give a vote whenever I can. I know it can be very demoralising to get too many 0's and won't help retention.
I comment as much as I can although I think I need to up my game on that.
I don't self vote at all - just personal preference. I've only got limited voting power - others need what I have more than what I can give to myself.
I must admit now I'm curious as to where I would sit in your table. I know I wouldn't get anywhere near the likes of Lyndsay, cecicastor and crimson that I know. They are hammering it.
Give me a try I feel like it can help me up my comments and upvotes while depending more on curation than self votes.
sorry to hear you are not feeling well... it's that time of year :(
Thanks for trusting in me, and helping out so many people!
In the concept of delegating sp you indeed are doing good job and they indeed are doing great as well that is why you selected them isn't it !
Hope you find more :)
Very good analysis of the behavior of the administrators of Gondor, we have shown bravery defending tirih mines, I was attacked by orcs in pinnath gelin causing an earache also like you my king, but I begin to recover and soon there will be no more enemies resisting us.
First, it's very kind of you to spread the love by empowering others.
Second, it looks like over all voting increased for the group as a whole. If one of your goals was to spread the love further than you could on your own, this week was a success since more people voted more with more power? lol, does that make sense?
Third, have you also tracked your own numbers for comparison with the group? May not provide the best info this week since you were sick, but could be interesting.
Maybe you find that people whose numbers resemble you own patterns might be a good fit for your goals? Maybe you find you change the way you interact yourself now that the power you have access to is lower?
Very interesting project, and again, very generous.
And bottom line, is there a better ROI in Steem, or on track to have a better ROI, as a result of this project to date and the trend it may create? Do you see what you hoped to see?
First, wishing you a quick recovery and thank you for giving so many the opportunity to use your hard earned steem power.
Secondly, I'm blown away by the number of people using your steem power. Wow. I never knew we are that many.
I like the data analysis. I like the blockchain, virtually everything done here could be analyzed if you have the right tool and skill.
Thanks for giving us wings to fly and do take care of yourself.
The Steem blockchain is like a playground for me. Being able to see all activity one does is a Godsend.
Thanks for the well wishes @greenrun and your outstanding engagement.
Thank you too, it's been an honor to be amongst your stewards of Gondor.
i wish everyone will have this kind of mindset
Thanks @fulltimegeek for upvoting the first 4 blog posts that I made on Steemit after joining 5 months ago. Your votes got each of those posts over the 1 steem dollar mark, which was very encouraging for someone new to the platform. For one of those posts, yours was the only upvote it received :)
Little did I know that 1+ steem dollar posts would be rare air, as I have now published 99 blog posts on Steemit and only 10 have crossed that mark. Despite this, I haven't given up posting. Still hoping that eventually I'll catch a break and one of my articles will gain some traction.
That one breakthrough can be all it takes to gain a following and from that point onwards, success breeds success.
Here's to your continued success and to that of all those whom have benefited from your generosity.
Wow pretty awesome analysis! Thanks again for the delegation. I should reduce the self-voting lol :P
you run great analystic on it...thanks for helping..
hope you will get well soon..
lol, love the title. lord of the steems! :) interesting to see all the results like this, sorry to hear your sick ;(
Lol, how sweet would it be if someone turned that into a trilogy?
Thank you, good thing I am recovering quickly. My health bar has gone from 10% to 50% within the last 24hrs.
all the best to 100% :) health bar :)
Damn thats a lot of Stewards to track, you've been busy!
I really like this idea, and thankyou again for your delegation to @openmic :)
I wish I would've started delegating sooner b/c it's so much fun. I love creating+running reports. Plus, it really makes users engage when they are bestowed the stewardship. It sort of feels like a real-life MMORPG. lol!
I totally forgot to add @openmic to the list probably b/c I only went 2 weeks back for my delegatees. I will surely be adding them on the next report.
Thank you @ausbitbank for the comment and your continued contributions to the steem blockchain. Your work does not go unnoticed.
Hi @fulltimegeek,
Thanks for putting this list and letting us know how we fared after getting the SP delegated.
Glad that I am on 5th position out of your stewards. But I see there is still scope for improvement as I didn't know that I utilized 43% for self vote.
I will definitely reduce that considerably and try to contribute more in terms of comments and rewarding more quality contents.
Thank you. Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope to see you in action soon.
Have great day and congratulations to all who have been delegated and performed as per your stats.
Self voting isn't a bad thing if your blogs are undervalued. I need to keep improving the script to be more subjective and not objective. Don't take the report too seriously b/c it's still very coarse.
Well, thank you for the confirmation, still I will try to minimize the self voting and try my best to reach out different Steemians and reward them with my votes based on the content.
Get well! Being sick is the worst part of life besides dying I guess.
That picture was priceless!
Lol, I was wondering if people noticed that was my face superimposed. Thanks for removing my doubts :)
Thanks for the get well wishes ... my health bar is rising and currently at 50%.
I want to say thank you for the opportunity that you have given to these people. I also want to nominate @ewuoso. He is a very good person. He has the interest of newbies in heart. He is also a group admin in a whatsapp group that i am in. He gives tutorials to newbies everyday and i am sure he will do more if he has the sp to assist minnows grow. I think you should give him a try and i promise you will not be disappointed
I hope you get well soon. Ear infections are nasty business. Thank you for being there behind the scenes.
Very informative.. shocking that all this info is readily available..
Interesting to see the fluctuations in self voting by @coolguy123 ... most everyone else stayed the same or went down..
Shout out to @lyndsaybowes and @taskmaster4450 for making curators list 👏

the guy in the middle looks familiar.....hope he's doing well. :)
I like to throw my name into your hat - so to speak. I currently do have 1500 of delegation sp which will go away in 2 weeks. A lot of the voting power I have, I am using on the community of freewriters I am building up and nurturing. I also try to support others as much as I can. I am a frequent commenter and see myself as an encourager. If you do this again, I like to be considered.
Thank you for all you do.
@fulltimegeek
I don't think I can do better than all your stewards but I know if delegated I will do well to beat many on the list.
I promote Steemit and have several newbies joining the platform daily through my promotion
I also do mentorship of most newbies to ensure they keep posting
I also belong to several communities
If delegated, this will help me achieve most of my works
As I can upvote more quality contents
I'm @samiwhyte
If delegated I will
I believe you will do better @samiwhyte
Your support so far has kept us going
Hello @fulltimegeek
this is absolutely awesome and a way to create a better environment for many on the platform.....
as for me, i know one @samiwhyte , a steemit promoter whose interests and present desire is to help many newbies get their feet on the platform..
i am very sure he will deliver if delegated...
I think you are right @ododah
@samiwhyte is really doing much aready
If delegated I think he will do well
@fulltimegeek
consider @samiwhyte for delegation
He's on my potential steward list and being watched closely ... thanks for the recommendation.
Hello @ododah thanks for spotting out @samiwhyte, he is doing great in most communities I think if @fulltimegeek delegate some SP to him, he will do better than some on the list
I totally agree with you @janegrace.
@samiwhyte can do a better job.
Hey broooo hope you heal up with God’s speed, so glad to see you doing more community uplifting and support. Is there anyway I can message you on Steemit.chat or Discord? If yes for either what are your usernames and #id.
I have an update for you. I have finished the song and want to release it in parts and showcase the full song you have requested me very soon. I hope you enjoy it and as I post the parts I want to send you the links as we build up to the song presentation.
Hey verbal-d, I'm still recovering from my ear+sinus infection and not spending too much time on the Internet. But, when I am on discord my user name+id is: fulltimegeek#5230
I'm sure the song is great and doesn't need my "stamp of approval." Just release it to the masses and spread the blessing :)
Sounds great bro! I'll be sure to do so. Again, heal up and I'll add you on Discord.
God bless and indeed I shall.
Great idea to keep track of the delegatees @fulltimegeek! Going to be interesting to see if / how this affects peoples behaviour! :)
Thanks for the delegation tonight. I am going to do a thank you post as well. I take this responsibility very seriously. Hope you are feeling better as well.
You're very welcome @old-guy-photos :)
Wow, awesome to see you delegate so much steem to other users. It is steemians like you who help the community grow and keep minnows engaged. It is also nice to see so many of them spend most of their votes on others and not themselves.

@fulltimegeek would you support a project that aims to ensure free digital artwork and photography for steemians by steemians @steemcreations I would love to be able to support contributors much more than I can now. I think this would bring more attention to the project and more contributions, meaning more free artwork for steemians.
