I love the lessons you present relating to the Stick Man, they are in deed invaluable for us all on so many domains. I did notice the price tag made out of slices of wood he must have had made himself and it automatically reminded me of festival goers pass for weekends that were made in the same fashion in the Kispiox Valley as well as here on Haida Gwaii many years ago. Wood simply feels good as a wearable as it is warm, earthy and light enough to carry around easily. I guess a good stick might in deed have some of the same particularities...
