I'm hearing a lot of bad things about Poloniex recently.
I even read an article recently about Poloniex holding 28 million in uncredited deposits.
My few words of advise are stop using Poloniex and start using Tradeqwik.
Tradeqwik is a relatively new exchange with under a thousand customers as we speak but it's the exchange I use to change my Steem to Bitcoin.
Why?
Because it's fast to use, they have great customer service, the team behind it are all friendly and are active users of Steemit.
Not only this but the plans they have will transform this exchange into one of the best out there with some great innovations not yet seen.
The @tradeqwik account itself is very active here on Steemit and actively engages with the community, upvoting and holding competitions for its customers.
Tradeqwik has a great asset you can buy called TQS with which you can earn your share of 20% of all trading fees collected. These are paid out weekly in the currency they were collected in and are planned to be paid out daily in the future.
So support and use Tradeqwik as your exchange to convert your Steem.

Tradquick is dangerous place to trade btc. I sent btc to my another acct and it just vanished. No one from tradeqwik responded to any of my requests since months together!!!!!!!

i don't know what it is about tradeqwik but i find it hard to understand; plus if you're like me, you would keep your money in your offline wallet or scattered across different trading platforms (i use many)
Really I find it easy to navigate and use, in saying that they are changing the whole thing and making it even easier to navigate and use in the very near future
i hear a lot of people talk about it, so can't wait for the newer version, but i'm bad at trading, suppose that's the reason i find the current version confusing.
I hate trading, I'm more in to investing.

STOPBleutrade had at some point an asset named "BleuTrade Shares", something similar to TQS, but they ditched it. They bought every single share back though before ditching it.
I don't know if I'll join Tradeqwik, but I hope their asset will last longer than Bleutrade's
As for poloniex, I completely cashed out today, and I don't intend to go back. I'll stick to the devils I know (Bleutrade, BTC-E & Bittrex) but I may try Tradeqwik at some point :)
It's early days for Tradeqwik yet, but they do have some super secret very advanced technology coming.
