In his speech to the BBC, Tony said he was traveling alone, visiting places bravely. This is done because he thinks this is a life challenge. From traveling also he can interact with many people.
Tony also told me many things that happened during his journey. Because of his vision condition, he is often said to be lost. He also admitted, that it is very difficult to walk, without clear vision. Lots of people come to help. But Tony explains to everyone, that he is traveling.
The reason Tony is not traveling with someone is because he does not want to be spoiled. He does not want the things he wants, done by others. Tony just wants to travel like everyone else, feel the atmosphere of the place he visits, and interact with people. The way he travels is to feel the atmosphere, inhale the scent, and touch things.
During the trip, Tony often get lost. If he loses his way, he will ask others. In this way he enjoys traveling, traveling by interacting with others.
