The ancient region of Cappadocia is located in central Nevsehir. Nevsehir is a city but you can know its name as Cappadocia.
Kendi memleketim Nevşehir'i kendi gözlerimden tanıttım. Çoğu fotoğraf bana aittir, teşekkür ederim.
Millions years ago volcanic eruptions covered this area and stoned with wind. So they created interesting pillars with interesting shapes. Ancient people call them as 'Fairy Chimneys'. You can find those interesting pillars everywhere in Cappadocia.
My motherland is Cappadocia so ı have many tales to tell you :)
Digging and Finding Gold
In old times people forced to travel from to Cappadocia because of hostile enemies. So when people migrating they burried their gold and antique stuff under the ground to pick up later when they return. But most of them failed to return so ages later other people finded many golden items and gold coins in pots.
Our Family Business
Our family business is about copper. We doing it with passion for 80+ years. My grandfather's father started doing copper pods, plates and many items at Cappadocia and it passed genrations to generations.
Rumors has it that my grandfather's father find a pot with gold and give it to my grandfather so he can migrate to Istanbul and opened a Copper Factory. In years we improoved ourselves and now my father runs to company. I hope i will take over in few years later.
And now we producing copper items like that:
Maybe a pot of golden coins changed our family life, who knows.
