We’ve been to Tokyo many times and we usually stay only for a few days to meet some friends and enjoy some good food. Today I’ll be taking you to a Chinese Restaurant called inside Sunshine City at Ikebukuro. A reason why we chose this restaurant is there was parking for my friend who I was meeting and it wasn’t too crammed like other restaurants in the complex. My friend who has been living in Japan for some time was also craving for Chinese food so it was a great choice. Check out the food options at Sunshine City!

Let's check out the menu. They also have some lunch special deals which I thought was pretty reasonably priced.
I ordered a lunch set with chicken and vegetables and also a bowl of wonton noodles for the kids to share (didn’t take a picture of the noodles). In the set, you get the main meal of your choice, a soup, salad, side dishes & a dessert. Not bad for just under 1200 yen!
The interior of the restaurant was very spacious and we were given a table on the side with some nice soft sofa seating.
If you are craving for some Chinese food in Japan, this restaurant is not a bad option. Considering it is in the middle of a busy shopping complex, the food is very reasonably priced and tastes like the Chinese restaurants in Australia so it was not bad at all.

大家好，今日想帶大家到東京池袋一間中國餐廳吃中午飯．因為在日本居住的朋友很久沒有吃廣東菜所以他想跟我一齊去．這間餐廳非常闊落不像隔離餐廳一樣座位非常迫。這間餐廳有中午套餐而我覺得價錢非常合理。每個套餐有個主菜，一碗飯，前菜，湯和甜品．味道方面我覺得比我想像中好而且有點想澳洲中國菜風味。

the food looks fantastic
yah honestly it was not bad having chinese food in Japan hahaha
I was going to say what a waste to go to Japan and have Chinese food. But it looks to me more like Chinese influenced Japanese food than actual Chinese food
yah the salad was a bit weird for chinese food. it is definately Japanese style chiense hahaha
