Strahov Library Prague. A monastic library with magnificent reading halls from the 17th and 18th centuries. The stunning Philosophy Hall and the Theology Hall both with ornate baroque stuccowork and fabulous ceilings . The adjacent 18th-century Cabinet of Curiosities, is lesson of just how grotesque colonialism was - hosts of dead animals shrivelled remains, splayed corpses next to samples of flora and fauna and some antiquities.
