Before writing this post, I asked myself many times, “What is my story? How would I introduce myself?” I even googled how to introduce yourself in a blog. Jeeezz. That’s how petty I am. But after thinking so hard, I decided to just talk to you guys like I will be your new friend. Can I?

This is my first sketchartwork to share
I was named Jennifer by my father and I really don’t understand why. My mother told me that I was named after the brilliant student of my father, he’s a part-time lecturer by the way, and maybe they hoped that I’ll be a bright child too. Now, I wonder how upset they were. Hahaha. Anyway, my dear friends, you can call me Jen for short.
I came across to steemit because of my friend @kneelyrac. Thanks to her, I got the chance to start posting and challenged myself to express my thoughts more. Thanks waling! :D

Anyway, here are few things about myself.
1 I am THE YOUNGEST of four siblings. I got two sisters and 1 brother. They say that the youngest is the most spoiled one. Well, maybe half of it is true. I remembered before, whenever Christmas comes I received a looooot of clothes. Who wouldn’t? If both of your sisters passed down their clothes to you because they got new ones. Hahaha
This is the only picture I have right now of us family. From the left, that is my one and only brother, then my sister (2nd child), me, my father, our eldest sister and her husband.
2 I am A CIVIL ENGINEER. I graduated last January 2016 and passed the board exam months after. Who are engineers here? Cheers! ^_^
3 I FIGHT AGAINST CANCER. My mom passed away 7 days before my 19th birthday due to breast cancer. Now, we also started taking care of ourselves to prevent cancer development in our body. But right now, I became obese. I have hormonal imbalance and got slow metabolism. I have such a hard time to lose weight. But I am really trying. If you got some suggestions, please tell me. ^_^
4 A MOTHER OF TWO. Oops! It’s not what you think. I am a pet lover. I have two dogs in my pad. They’re both playful and adorable and they could make your day. I named the small one Ryuu (from a Japanese anime character) and the bigger one Yoda (from Starwars).

However sometimes, they could make your life stressful.
What a mess. But he's too cute still!
5 NATURE-LOVER. I am a fan of sunrises and sunsets, of landscapes and waterfalls, of flowers and butterflies. It just amazes me how beautiful their vibrant colors are and how magical a place could be naturally.

6 I LOVE TO TRAVEL. If only my pocket would allow me, I would always get a tour package and be one with nature! I love camping and escapades, joyride and picnics, adventures and fun. Hopefully I can soon!

7 FRUSTRATED CHEF/COOK. Since food is lifer, I really wanted to try out new dishes and make my own recipes. I plan on studying short courses but got no budget. Hopefully soon I can enroll!

8 I LOVE FOOD. I think, no further explanation needed. Hahaha

9 If there is a career woman, I wanna be the CAREER HOUSEWIFE. Hahaha. Actually, that’s my biggest goal. I am a family-oriented person and I want to be the one to take care of my soon to be kids. I love babies by the way, and I don’t mind spending my whole time with them. But at the same time, I want to pursue my passions and start some business even if I’ll spend most of the time at home.

You've achieved a lot through hard work. You're an engineer. You've realized that eating healthy can prevent diseases. You have dreams of starting your own business someday. You're on a good track! Regarding health, I suggest also adding some form of physical exercise on top of a healthy balanced diet. Sometimes it's not possible to escape what your genes bring but it is definitely possible to take steps towards preventing diseases. That's the least you can do.
Finally, please don't say you're boring. You seem like a positive person who has worked hard to get where you are. I've noticed that women tend to give credit of their success to others by being humble. We tend to not give ourselves much credit just so we're not judged for being over confident. That's wrong. I'm not saying you should rub it in everyone's face if you are successful. What I AM saying though is that its OK to show that you've worked hard and achieved everything that you have. You're not boring @jenpotgb. You are smart, loving, positive, and by looking at the pictures, also a good cook. So you go pursue your passion and start that business that you've wanted to!
