Just on our short runaround today I saw a help wanted sign at one of the local pizza places, last week it was the tire change out place, I wonder who will be looking next week. Newspapers, the few that are still around are probably loving the extra add revenue from business looking for employees.
I'm retired, I could go back to work, but why? All those non-retired workers that were forced to go and sit at home because of a bad flu season, have no real reason to go back to work, they survived sitting at home doing nothing and pretending to be retired. The government took good care of them, until the government kicks them to the curb they will still be sitting around doing nothing.
You get used to the get up and go night time trips, the first few months of it it may be difficult to fall back to sleep right away, but as time passes and it becomes a normal thing you end up back in la-la-land pretty quick, at least I do now.
I have trouble sleeping to be honest, like a lot of trouble, as there's too many things in my head so waking up from a good sleep is so annoying - Add in a stubbed toe...Not well pleased. I'll live though, I've had worse.
I agree with you on the job thing...So many will have a rude awakening at some stage, I htink anyway.
