The weekend is here, and thankfully cooler weather - which is cool by me - and it couldn't have come soon enough after a hot week of temperatures of around 45°C (113°F) and working week that was not too bad but also not exactly the best or most productive. but let's focus forward.
This weekend I'll be spending a lot of it outside as the temperatures have halved from what I said above and watering and doing gardening and maintenance stuff in my garden is what I'll be doing for most of Saturday. I also have some writing to do, something I'm working on for more serious places than Hive, and I'll find time to lay in my hammock and read (which is code for snooze). Later on I'll take a walk as the day cools off and even later still will watch some episodes of the Netflix series I'm currently watching.
Sunday I'm planning a mostly home day of reading in my hammock (code for snoozing as I said before) and writing too although lunch out may happen if I can find the motivation - I have a hankering for a particular food and zero hankering to make it myself. I have to do some stuff I don't want broadcast on the internet because it's private and strangers don't need to know and I reckon I'll do my grocery shopping as well. I'm looking at trying out a very low carb pizza pocket recipe because I can't eat regular pizza (the carb count on regular pizza base is too high) so will get stuff to do that with as well. Later, probably some more episodes but I'll need to prep for my working week as well...unfortunately.

It is that sort of temperature right now in the area of South Africa where my dad lives. I lived there for 2 years and it does that during summer. Far too hot.
Cape Town weather right now are Sunny 25-27C Last week had a 33C in it and that was hot enough.

This weekend for me... hmmm... going to an open day at an animation school with my daughter... and if the wife will let me, I can go to the hobby shop tomorrow. lol.
I have lots to do but I still have a wound dressing on my leg that prevents me from doing a lot of action. You'd never guess how much you'd miss being able to go on your knees Galen. Don't laugh... its not a sexual thing! 🤣
But really, something is behind my car seat. I could just reach around and - nope... would have to put weight on the wound dressing. Want to get tools out the back of the truck? Nope, can't reach. Need to ask @loadreaper to reach it because he's like 2m tall or something around there.
I have some admin stuff to do... I have hobby stuff and hive stuff to keep me busy.
But all in all... not a bad weekend coming up.

It was a pretty cool weekend. I have a lot to work towards! I will probably be posting about it but man... that Animation School is brilliant and wow... it is expensive... but I would like nothing more in the world for my daughter than seeing her go to that school!
It is amazing and top level. They are rated 10th best out of the 25 top International Animation Schools in the world. 3rd Years finish there at junior production ready level individuals. So they are getting loads of endorsement.

My weekend started off great! I have shopping planned, cooking a delicious recipe with courgette, a great walk in three different places that I like and also reading and writing for a while. I'm also planning the week ahead, I like to have it structured as much as possible.
The second song reminds me that it was the soundtrack of a series I used to watch in the 80's I think it was called Nam, first platoon, it was about war. It was also called Combat in Vietnam.
Hopefully it ends as well as it started.

My wife and I have been using a dough for awhile that is just yogurt and flour. It's pretty easy to make and it is better for you I guess. It doesn't taste quite as good, but it is passable. We just got home from heading down south for a night. We started with ice, then drove through rain, sleet, and snow before we finally made it home!
I've heard if that one, flour is straight up carbs though so I have to seek alternatives.
That sounds like a wonderful weekend. I am reading backwards, so I know there was a little unplanned excursion, but hopefully, most of the rest of it will go very close to what you planned.

I’m hoping to do some rock climbing this weekend with the little man! He’s off the whole week so I’m gonna be able to enjoy some time with the rascal but also sleep in lol.
I’m already planning the stuff we are gonna set up for the deck garden this year - cherry tomatoes galore and maybe a pepper or two, and hot peppers.
This sounds like a reasonable weekend, some enjoyment immediately and planning for future enjoyment. I approve. 😉
I don't really have any plans right now other than for today (Saturday). My youngest's birthday is today, so we are going to his apartment to celebrate. Sunday may be spent catching up on some small chores, reading and messing around on HIve, maybe watching a series called Lioness.
Birthday huh? A perfect excuse to get together, eat cake and have some coffee.
Special Ops: Lioness is legit man, seen all episodes and loved them.

Van Helsing. It's not the best I've ever seen but people shooting vampires in the head is usually somewhat entertaining.
I recommend one called the law of the bold, it is not about shooting but about legal strategies.
I sometimes sleep hanging upside down like a vampire, it's remarkably comfortable, but the hammock works well too.
