Here's my entry for the BeerSaturday 393 with a fruit beer brewed by the Beauregard microbrewery in Montreal. It's rare that I have fruit-flavoured beers or anything else. I'm pretty traditional when it comes to beer 😀. But I wanted to taste it to get an idea and see if I like it or not.

Je suis plutôt traditionnel niveau bière 😀. Mais je voulais gouter pour avoir une idée et voir si j'aime cela ou pas.

This isn't the first time I've talked about the microbrewery Beauregard, founded in 2018 by two brothers Jonathan and Sébastien Coutu in Montreal. Normally, this brewery specialises in dark, stout and porter beers, with the aim of getting as many people as possible to enjoy this type of beer. But it looks like they're expanding their market with this lager.
Ce n'est pas la première fois que je parle de la microbrasserie Beauregard, fondée en 2018 par deux frères Jonathan et Sébastien Coutu à Montréal. Normalement, cette brasserie est spécialisée dans les bières noires, stout et porter, dans le but de faire apprécier au plus grand nombre ce type de bière. Mais il semblerait qu'ils élargissent leur marché avec cette blonde.
🍺 Tasting / Dégustation :
Blonde à la Mûre (Blackberry Ale) is a fruit beer with 4.4% alcohol. It's a blond beer to which blackberry purée has been added during fermentation. In the glass, you'll find a transparent straw yellow colour topped by a faint head that disappears very quickly (see the two photos 🔼 🔽, only a few seconds have passed between the two). Taste-wise, at first you get a thirst-quenching, easy-drinking beer, then later a touch of acidity and fruitiness. I didn't really like this blend. But as I didn't get much foam, I wonder if it wasn't a bit eventful. A doubt I often find with beers from this brewery 🤔.
La Blonde à la Mûre est une bière aux fruits avec 4.4% d'alcool. C'est une blonde qui lors de la fermentation a reçu l'ajout d'une purée de mures. Dans le verre, on retrouve une robe jaune paille transparente surmontée d'une faible mousse qui disparait très rapidement (voir les deux photos 🔼 🔽, seulement quelques secondes se sont écoulées entre les deux). Au gout, au début on retrouve une bière de soif, facile à boire puis par le suite une touche acidulée et fruitée. Sans plus pour moi, je n'ai pas trop aimée ce mélange. Mais comme je n'ai pas eu beaucoup de mousse, je me demande si elle n'était pas un peu eventée. Un doute que je retrouve souvent avec les bières de cette brasserie 🤔.
Design
The design is typical of the brewery, with B stylised in the colours of the beer, in this case a blend of a lager with traces of blackberry. It's their design that attracts me every time because I find it very effective and professional. I've still got one of their stouts to try. But I think in future I'll just concentrate on their strong alcohol, as they're also a distillery.
Niveau design, on retrouve les caractéristiques de la brasserie avec B stylisé aux couleurs de la bière, ici un mélange d'une bière blonde avec des traces de mûres. C'est leur design qui m'attire à chaque fois car je le trouve très efficace et professionnel. Il me reste encore une de leur stout à gouter. Mais je pense qu'à l'avenir je vais juste me concentrer sur leur alcool fort, car c'est aussi une distillerie.
