Your life is a business.

Every day we get up and go to work. Most of us anyway. Some of us are lucky enough to do things like trade stocks online or get into a coin at a low price, watch it rise, get out, watch it fall, then get back in and continually make profits.

In fact, I know quite a few people that do that. Personally I'm always worried that we're going to have that one bull run that kind of prevents us from taking profit and ends up screwing up all the profit we had previously made.... so I'm wary about doing that.

If you're like most of us then you get up every day and go to your job. The alarm clock, the shower, the breakfast, the job, the dealing with people all day long, the coming home from work, maybe you have to get your kids, maybe you have a long commute, maybe you have to do this, or that, and a bunch of other things before you finally arrive.

You are tired and hungry, make dinner, maybe you hop in the shower again. It's an everyday process an it's not usually very fun process.

During the course of your day you interact with other people. That's what makes us human. I'm not saying that hermits aren't human, or that there aren't jobs that don't require interacting with other people, but for the most part human beings really operate well with social interaction.

This means dealing with other people. Sometimes those people do things that interfere with our daily lives, but that doesn't mean that we can disregard these people.

It doesn't mean that we can treat these people poorly, because that means that they could treat us poorly as well. We've all heard about that. We all know about that sort of thing.

The question is when someone else's business becomes your business, and when your business becomes someone else's business. Everything that we do in life is our business. Some of it is actually a business when it comes to making money. Some of it is a business when it comes to making connections, whatever they might be.

However, some of it is nobody's business.

I watched a young lady get in trouble today in my restaurant because she had made a mistake in trusting her friend. Her friend had apparently told her boss something that she shouldn't have.

Apparently her friend was just joking about it and thinking it wasn't going to be a big deal, but the lady in question got fired because she trusted her friend.

It was none of her friend's business and it was not a good idea to talk to this lady about it.

People in the restaurant industry hear these kind of things all the time.

It's part of working at a restaurant. It really got me thinking though that is not a good idea to go around sharing your business with everyone.

The reason is because your life is your business and your life is all about being happy. We need money to be happy, we need friends to be happy, we need social interaction to be happy, and when somebody else makes your business their business they're taking away your ability to get one of these things.

Taking away your ability to get one of these things has a lot to do with taking away your ability to be happy.

Being happy in and of itself is a success, but truly being successful in today's world means being able to make money, and when you don't have a job that is a very difficult situation because money is much harder to come by for someone that is not employed or employable.

So it's important to remember that your life is a business, but it's also important to remember to mind your own business when something's going on that doesn't involve you. Don't go telling your boss secrets that someone else told you, because it's not your business unless it directly affects you.

Especially when it's not a big deal. You don't know what your boss is going to think. You don't know if your boss will make it a big deal. Maybe your boss has really been looking for a reason to get rid of your friend. All you're going to do is make things worse when you decide that other people's business is your business.

Your life is your business.

Make no mistake though.... life is a business, and I hope your business works out well.

Hmmm you are right about this. About the woman, she made a mistake, she should have know a long time ago that nobody can be trusted. Not even you'd best friend

Fyi, I'm working out of town this weekend, so I'm not on discord this weekend.
