Iconomi is essentially doing this and it's a crypto. It's supposedly going to be a basket of digital assets...a one stop shop if one is into that.

Interestingly there are several crypto etfs that trade as currency icn will have a platform and melon is another player. But they are not open to traditional investors.

There are actually two Bitcoin ETNs on the Swedish stock exchange NASDAQ OMX, XBT and XBTE: Can't remember how long they've been available, but it's at least a couple of years…

I personally think a standard managed fund is much more likely to appear for a basket of cryptocurrencies than an ETF in the near future anyway. But you never know, maybe one day.
