अध्यात्म साधना में बाधक - अज्ञान (भाग # १) | Inhibition of Spirituality - Ignorance (Part # 1)
ज्ञान और अज्ञान में बहुत बड़ा अन्तर है । ऐसा कहा जा सकता है कि विपरीत ध्रुव है । जहां ज्ञान आत्मा का सहज स्वरूप है वहां अज्ञान उसका प्रबल विरोधी है । ज्ञान आत्मा को शुद्ध-बुद्ध, उच्च और मुक्त बनाता है । अज्ञान उसे अन्धकार को ओर ले जाकर उसके स्वाभाविक गुणों का विनाश करता है ।
भारतीय संस्कृति में ज्ञान और अज्ञान के अन्तर को स्पष्ट रूप से बताया गया है । वैसे ज्ञानोपयोग आत्मा का लक्षण है । इस अर्थ में सभी जीव ज्ञानी है । किन्तु जब तक यथार्थ दर्शन नहीं है तब तक आत्मा का वह लक्षण अनुपयोगी बना रहता है । ऐसा भी कहा जा सकता है कि यथार्थ दर्शन के बिना आत्मा का ज्ञानोपयोग लक्षण विकृत या मूर्च्छितावस्था में ही रहता है । एक मूर्च्छित व्यक्ति जीवित तो रहता है किन्तु मूर्च्छा के कारण वह लगभग मृतक के ही समान होता है । उस अवस्था में उसे न किसी बात का ज्ञान रहता है और न वह कोई क्रिया ही सम्पादित कर सकता है । इसी प्रकार यथार्थ दर्शन के अभाव में सारा ज्ञान निरर्थक होता है । भगवान ने इसीलिए यथार्थ दर्शन के बिना बड़े-से-बड़े मतिज्ञान, श्रुतज्ञान और विभंग ज्ञान को भी ‘अज्ञान’ की ही संज्ञा दी है । यहां तक कि सम्यग् दर्शन के बिना चारित्र्य को भी मोक्ष मार्ग के लिए बाधक कहा है –
वीतराग भगवान ने कहा है कि अज्ञानी द्वारा जब कितना कुछ भी किया जाए लेकिन मोक्ष मार्ग के लिए उसने कुछ भी नहीं किया, ऐसा माना जाएगा । इसके विपरीत ज्ञानी कम-से-कम चारित्र्य को पाल कर भी सिद्धि के अधिक समीप पहुँचता है ।
जिन कर्मों को क्षय करने में अज्ञानी करोड़ो वर्ष व्यतीत करता है, उन्हीं कर्मों को ज्ञानी आत्मा क्षण मात्र में नाश कर देती है । उससे सद्गुणों को बल प्राप्त हो जाता है और दोषों का नाश होता है । दुर्गुण अथवा विकारों से मुक्त मानव को जीवन विकास की ओर बढ़ने से कौन रोक सकता है ?
अज्ञानी आत्मा अपने वास्तविक, सच्चे घर को भूलकर जंगल में भटकते हुए प्राणी के सामान है । उसे अपने प्रकार की प्रतिकूल प्रवृत्तियों का बोझ ढोना पड़ता है जो कि असाताजनक होती है तथा उसे संसार में निरंतर सताती रहती है । वह अपने मूल उद्देश्य को, अपने वास्तविक गंतव्य को भूल चूका होता है और यह नहीं जानता कि वह अपने जीवन को किस ओर मोड़ रहा है ।
जिस प्रकार हम एक पोस्टकार्ड में सब समाचार तो ठीक लिख दें किन्तु पता नहीं लिखें तो वह पोस्टकार्ड केवल इधर-उधर भटकता ही रहेगा, अपने निर्दिष्ट स्थान पर नहीं पहुंच पाएगा, उसी प्रकार लौकिक दृष्टि से शेष सब बातें के उत्तम होने पर भी आत्म निश्चय के अभाव में प्राणी को मिथ्या मोहनीय द्वारा भटकते ही रहना पड़ेगा ।

There is a great difference between knowledge and ignorance. It can be said that the opposite pole is. Where knowledge is the intuitive nature of the soul, ignorance is its strong opponent. Knowledge makes the soul pure-Buddha, High and Free. Ignorance takes away the darkness and destroys its natural qualities.
In Indian culture, the difference between knowledge and ignorance has been clearly stated. Well, the use of wisdom is the symptom of the soul. All creatures in this sense are knowledgeable. But as long as there is no real vision, then the symptoms of the soul remain unusable. It can be said that without the true philosophy, the use of the knowledge of the soul remains distorted or unconscious. A faint person lives on, but due to unconsciousness he is almost like a dead person. At that stage, he has no knowledge of any thing and neither can he perform any action. Similarly, in the absence of realistic philosophy, all knowledge is meaningless. Thus, without real philosophy, God has given the same meaning as "ignorance" to large minds, intuition and discrimination. Even without equanimity, the character is called the obstacle for salvation.
Vitrag God has said that by doing so much, nothing will be done by the ignorant but he has done nothing for the Moksha path. On the contrary, the wise reaches the least of the character even more near the fulfillment.
In which the ignorant spend millions of years in destroying the deeds, destroys the wise soul only in those deeds. He gets strength from the virtues and destroys the defects. Who can stop the human being from free from defects or disorders to move towards life?
The ignorant soul forgets its real, true home and is like a creature wandering in the jungle. He has to bear the burden of his own adverse trends, which is abnormal, and persists in the world constantly. He has forgotten his original purpose, his actual destination and does not know which way he is turning his life.
Just as we write all the news in a postcard, but if you do not know the address, then the postcard will only wander around and not be able to reach your destination. In the same way, In the absence of this, the animal will have to stay wandering through a fancy.

ज्ञानी अहंकार और आभाव से मुक्त होता है
ज्ञानी व्यक्ति हमेशा शुद्ध विचारों वाला होता है , उसके तेज़ से ही उसके ज्ञान का पता चल जाता है , ज्ञान से भरपूर होने के कारण उसमे सयम , शान्ति का प्रवाह होता है , इसके विपरीत अज्ञानी व्यक्ति की शुद्धता भांग होती है , वह हमेशा क्रोध से बीघा हुआ रहता है , उसकी बुद्धि काम करने में असमर्थ होती है
ज्ञानी व्यक्ति हमेशा ही अपने ज्ञान के बल पर आगे बढ़ता है जबकि अज्ञानी व्यक्ति दूसरों को झुकाने की कोशिश में लगा रहता है जिससे उसे हमेशा पराजय का सामना करना पड़ता है।
