There is a great matter of debate.
Some believe that our time should be spent on Web 2.0 trying to get people to come to Web3. Then there is the line of thinking that we should focus upon Web 3.0.
In this video I give my views.

Why do I have what mostly amounts to "a cat blog?" Because it's universally consumable content that can be shared in many places... as cat content, not necessarily as a Hive promotional effort.
I'm using myself as an example. I ended up here because I read an article that was published on St****t; it had nothing to do with blockchain, crypto, earning money online or the platform, itself. It had to do with a topic I was researching.
That's how grassroots works.

They don't want to post and be active.
They are upset other coins are going up but our coin is going sideways.
You are right on point with this video

I think the more we just continue to build on Web3 the more people will come. As the old saying goes. Build it and they will come!
We need a mix of both. Hive is barely known to the wider world and crypto has gained a bad reputation, so we need to overcome both of those. We also need to keep current Hivers engaged. I have largely moved off corporate platforms, but I need to stay in touch with some people who only use those. I will keep mentioning Hive to them.
Yep. a database of immutable data.
We use this a the database of truth and then scale up from there.
We can't market that we have to market our projects on top of that.
Once we are done we can market. Until then I guess we are the new project "blank"
Your point is so on point no one cares about database.
Your AWS growth analogy is on point.
Thanks for the response.
whoops posted from holybread instead of simplegame

🤣
I ask myself that numbers question because I saw the tweets about the narrative topic, I thought oh CTT is going to be packed, at most there was 22 ppl listening so its true, if overall we dont get the ppl who are on Hive active then how ppl from outside is going to be interested

Are there really many Hivians complaining about Hive's lack of attention from the mainstream?
No it appears to be a small minority of folks... who simply complain very loudly and in truly annoying ways.
Instead of complaining, better to focus in growing one's account. I think that would not be easy once Hive becomes viral.
Maybe it is just me but it seems like many of the folks (but not all) who push for more 'presence' on Web2 are the 'me me me' type of crypto-wanker who come off as toxic and divisive... then wonder why no one is interested in following their 'lead'.
I agree that putting all that effort into Web2 platforms.... is 'activity' (clicks, likes, comments, posts etcetera) that would be way more beneficial if it had been done inside the Hive ecosystem.
has committed the most words to the blockchain. It was kind of funny hearing that in the video because I had just done a rough word count of my posted content (sans comments) and I had somewhere close to 1.65 million words... as of yesterday.P.S. From one 'fanboy' to another @taskmaster4450 your commentary towards the end of the video got me thinking about who really
