Old measurements with last telescope.
March 9 2018 5 5/8 inches ***
Sept 5 2018 6 6/8 inches ***
I get a difference of 9/8 inches
6 6/8 inches is 54 1/8 ths. 6 6/8 minus 5 5/8 is 9/8th or 9 of 54 for 16.7 percent difference.
14 percent is the amount the moon should change in size due to the moons orbit.
In my rough estimation I see a problem. I will continue observing.
Always error in measurement. I will chose the lower of any 1/16 that is between the eighths.
We have have to look at long term averages.
Good work!
