Abortion is a topic that has caused a lot of controversy over the years. Many young ladies abort babies when they feel they are not ready to take responsibility for the well-being of the child, or their parents would frown against it or even disown them.
I agree with the fact that a foetus could be removed when it posses threat to the life of the mother, one way or the other it is still understandable.
Nevertheless, abort should not be painted nice and made to look good for whatsoever reason. It's an heinous act.

I doubt very few abortions are done out of malice. I agree with you that fear most likely plays a much more significant role in the decision.
I think many that support legalising abortion do so on the basis that they believe abortion is an acceptable or tolerable option rather something that is good or desirable.
I believe societies need to decide what they value. They need to make these decisions based on fact and not political propaganda.
I doubt the society and the world in general would come to a consensus in many years to come regarding this topic. It has been on for quite a while and no conclusive end has been reached.
Legalizing or not legalizing abortion has been debated in many media shows, in churches, legislative arm of government and it has been futile.
Individuals should stand for themselves and pioneer the move towards the end of the act that terminate young lives.
