Well technically the slider is to give you variable voting options instead of just 100% up vote. Not sure if it was changed but sometime after 500 or so HP you get your slider or that's how it used to work...

Apparently I've been around for a long time and I remember old stuff that sometimes isn't relevant anymore the rules keep changing on me all the time.

I've been seeing the slider for upvotes as I make them manually. What I haven't seen is a slider for payouts since those are either 100% HP or 50/50 between HP and HBD. I'll need to do the 100% option at publishing time.
Delegations is where I would need help not so much to make them but to find out which accounts deserve them or which accounts to recommend. For myself, I'm interested in delegations which reward me with HIVE, but it's good to know which delegations reward which tokens as well. Where would I find out about them? Which ones deserve to be promoted?
Other kinds of delegations exist, and I can always delegate to people who need them. It will be a while before I can delegate to a promising Hiver.
