The Meaning of life

in #aboutliving7 years ago

How long have you been here on earth?

If you ask me, I've been with the earth 54 times around the sun. I know it's been a while, but my main question really is:
"Has anyone figured out what the meaning of life is?" cause I haven't.

But I have a feeling I've gotten as close as I can to the truth: "There is no meaning." as simple as that.

The only meaning I got from life is the series of people I have crossed paths with.

You identify yourself with your acquaintances.

First your parents, then siblings, uncles and aunties, cousins, grandparents, neighbors, friends, enemies, teachers, colleagues,
workmates, professionals, people in your community, your wife or husband, then back to your kids if you have them.

All of what you really are is the relationship that you've experienced with all these people. That's it. There is nothing more than that.

Without all those people I happened to bump into, sat down and have a chat with, waste time with, just to have a laugh with, I wouldn't have any meaning at all. I would have been alive but with no connections, no relations, no involvements, in short, no life: meaningless.

So it doesn't matter whom you are wasting time with, I'd still consider it quality time. You should cherish those moments because they are what gives meaning to yours.
